Description: Cover art from the Mondo Vinyl Soundtrack of Contra III: The Alien Wars by Paul Mann. From Heritage Auctions: Paul Mann Contra III: The Alien Wars Super Nintendo Vinyl Soundtrack Original Cover Art (Mondo, 2017). Mondo celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Contra franchise in style with their premiere vinyl release of the original soundtrack to the 1992 Super Nintendo classic, Contra III: The Alien Wars. This spectacular painting is the original art for that vinyl cover, and it was also used for the cover of Retro Gamer magazine Issue #176. The action in the game is set three years after the original Contra, with heroes Bill and Lance ready for battle against Red Falcon and his legion. This image illustrates the scenario extremely well with bright colors and dynamic poses for the characters. It was produced in acrylics on Crescent art board on an image area of 18.5" × 18.5", and it's in excellent condition.
