Duncan Gutteridge is a British illustrator commissioned by Sega for various pieces of artwork in the early 1990s, most notably promotional pieces for Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Duncan is credited with the European box art for Sonic the Hedgehog 3. He also illustrated the European release of Sonic the Hedgehog Triple Trouble. At first glance the art appears identical to Greg Martin’s art for the U.S. release; however, closer inspection shows differences in Sonic’s left hand as well as the positioning and proportions of Knuckles, among various other changes.

Duncan is additionally responsible for the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 1993 Calendar and the Sega 1994 Official Calendar, both released in the United Kingdom.
