Alan Craddock is a British illustrator, colourist, and artist known for his science fiction and fantasy book covers. After studying at Newcastle University, Alan Craddock began his artistic career by working for the renowned comic 2000AD; his first published works appear in the 2000AD 1979 Summer Sci-Fi Special.
Alan has created artwork and illustrations for a wide range of media, including magazine covers, video covers, and computer game covers, and was employed as an illustrator for some of the hugely popular Fighting Fantasy books released in the 1980s. Alan's computer game box art includes Druid (1986) and its sequel Druid II: Enlightenment (1987).
Although the core of Alan's work for games was in the 1980s, in 1993 he illustrated the box art for the European Sega Mega Drive release of Mutant League Football; he followed in 1994 with the box art illustration for Mutant League Hockey.
