Yeah it is definitely interesting. To me it's so close it looks like it was scanned and final edits made digitally. It looks more like a filter applied and some small edits as opposed to a new fully digital render. But i'm by no means an expert. It was sold as being used to make the cover/ad and the final published cover having some edits done to the piece, I presume digitally.
