Killer! This is my first time seeing this box art. I love that I'm still discovering "new" art for a series as famous as Tetris!

I remember when David Rowe posted lots of his video game artwork.  When I contacted about some I wanted including this and a Friday the 13th piece, he told me he would give his usual buyers a chance first.  In the end, I never got anything from him. I’m glad this piece made into a good home though!  I guess you were one of his buyers he was accustomed to dealing with.

Yes, I was fortunate to get the opportunity to acquire a number of David's pieces (though also late to the game for his most prominent ones like Populous and Shadow of the Beast III). I was actually initially hoping to get his regular release Mirrorsoft Tetris cover, but that was also already gone. Really happy with this one though, as despite its (superficial) simplicity it's very striking. Not as iconic as Ericksen's Atari/Tengen version, but similarly memorable.

And yes, I also got lucky on the Friday the 13th cover :-)
