This puzzle was released by Jeux Nathan (Nathan Games), a French board game company now owned by Ravensburger, headquartered in Germany. The 500 piece puzzle was marketed as including a poster (of the art of the puzzle) within the box, and the side of the box titles the puzzle as "Sonic dans la ville" (Sonic in the City). This is one of two paintings Fabien Rypert illustrated for Sonic the Hedgehog puzzles.
