Description: This image has been described online in relation to the 1983 movie Blue Thunder; it is possible that Gary painted this image around ~1983 and that it was subsequently reused for the 1991 Game Boy release of Choplifter II: Rescue Survive, published in Japan by JVC Musical Industries, Inc. Gary's website named the piece "Blue Thunder Helicopter Chase" and his website had a possibly related painting called "Blue Thunder Game Board," which has been added below as an Additional Image.

  3. Description: In the mid-1990s, McGinty worked for Reebok on an ad campaign introducing animated anthropomorphic sport balls called Mad Balls. The lineup included a shark-inspired football, a gum-chewing baseball player, a two-headed drooling basketball player called "Double Dribble," and a gold-toothed hungry basketball.   23. Description: This fun platformer was both developed and published by Natsume in 1991 for the Game Boy and is Mark Fredrickson's first piece of game artwork. It features a wonderfully large cover that highlights the sneaker culture of the early 1990s and displays all the villains and scenarios of the game itself.   24. Description: Steve Lang's Taz-Mania art was used for the PAL Super Nintendo release by THQ as well as for THQ's Taz-Mania for the Game Boy, both released in 1993. Taz-Mania for SNES had two separate publishers, Sunsoft in the United States and THQ in Europe. THQ frequently worked with the Beeline Group and accordingly appears to have commissioned its own art for Europe's release of Taz-Mania for the Super Nintendo in 1993.
