The painting depicts a number of different staff designs and the design documents provided to Ralph were labeled "Chaos Staves".  The piece may have been used in some application such as a desktop wallpaper, in game, or loading screen as a digital final appears to exist online with the warhammer logo and some staffs colored out but the usage has not been confirmed.   3. Description: Barclay Shaw's box art for the 1992 game WarpSpeed from Accolade, a space flight simulator. Barclay Shaw's intertwined "B.S." signature/initials can be seen on the painting, but among the published materials are only visible on the front of the SNES manual. The cockpit window frame was a separate illustration. The illustration was done for the San Jose, California design agency "Darien & Kilburg." Barclay Shaw filled in for another artist that was too busy to do the assignment.

In working on the game Pete created and Activision focus-tested character concepts for not only for a Werewolf but also for a Lizard man and a bear named “Kodiak.”  This illustration done in markers is a composition ("comp") design for the game's box art.   6. Description: This is a tight marker prelim for a very rare promotional trade flyer for the NES game Werewolf: The Last Warrior from Data East. I cannot find any record online of the published flyer for this art other than the one I own. I suspect this would have been used at a trade event like the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), probably ahead of or around the time of the game's release in November 1990.   15. Description: Wolfchild received numerous ports, nearly all with their own artwork. Michael Winterbauer painted the art for the Sega CD release of the game, published by JVC Musical Industries. Michael's likeness is captured in the man at the bottom right of the image, pre-transformation. He painted the image in 1992 and the game was released in 1993.
