Description: This is Dave McMacken's original painting for Double Dragon 3 for the Sega Genesis. The piece has significant differences from how it was originally published. Dave's changes include the addition of a blue border with yellow and red flags. As annotated on the back of the illustration board, Dave hung onto this painting and finding it "too plain" played "fix-it" for fun, making a number of alterations to the original. No other painting for the Genesis release of Double Dragon 3 exist

The game features the Reebok Pump shoe, which is a power up that helps Drac run faster and jump higher.  A prototype game with a pre production label showing the artwork was found years ago.
