Donato Giancola (b. 1967)

Donato Giancola is a science fiction and fantasy artist located in Brooklyn, New York. Donato balances modern concepts with realism in his paintings to bridge the worlds of contemporary and historical figurative arts. Donato has illustrated extensively for collectible card game Magic the Gathering. Since beginning a professional career in 1993, Donato's list of clients has grown to include National Geographic, Microsoft, Vivendi/Universal, LucasArts, The Village Voice, CNN, Milton-Bradley, Hasbro, DC Comics, The SciFi Channel, Danbury Mint, Franklin Mint, Avon Books, Ballantine, Bantam, Berkley, Penguin, Random House, Scholastic, Sega, Simon & Schuster, Tor Books, Warner, Iron Crown Enterprises, Five Rings Publishing, and Wizards of the Coast.
