Carl Flint has been working as a storyboard artist for the last ten years or so, before that he was a London-based editorial illustrator – primarily for magazines and newspapers focussing on popular culture such as NME, Select and the Guardian. His work now focuses mainly on storyboarding and visualising for film & TV for a range of international clients.

Regular storyboard clients include Ridley Scott & Associates, Channel 4 (he boarded their award winning idents), and Nickelodeon. He worked on TVCs for Orange, Sony, Hardy’s wine, Co-Op, Graham Norton and many more. Carl and family recently relocated to the UK after spending several years in Sweden where he worked for the likes of McCann, Hilanders, Bobby Works, and SCP on a range of ads for Volvo, Ikea, Nelly, Specsavers, Husqvarna and others.

He has also maintained an interest in the world of comics, working for titles ranging from licensed children’s publications like Sonic the Comic to Deadline, Red Dwarf and the book It’s Dark In London which was recently republished by Self Made Hero.
