Description: Jester was a game in development by Sega and the well regarded Sega Technical Institute. STI was an all star cast of developers including Yuji Naka the original Sonic creator. They were given large budgets and allowed to work on numerous projects, some of which were cancelled in development. Mick also contributed art to another STI title Kid Chameleon. In 1993, the STI team worked on the development of Sonic 3 which was eventually split into 2 titles with Sonic and Knuckles being the second half. The studio had much tension around Jesters development as resources were constantly pulled to meet deadlines for the Sonic games and less priority was given to all other projects. By April 1994 (planned release) the game had been cancelled. The existence of final cover art infers the game may have been late in development but not much has surfaced other then some background and screenshots.
