Bronty 65
I thought this was interesting. This article is focussed on his fine art, but I know Paul had extensive illustration holdings as well. When I was first becoming aware of J Allen St John, I visited the Experience museum or whatever Allen's Seattle museum is called now, and there was illustration art all over it, mainly sci-fi, pulp covers, older fantasy, etc. One piece stood out like a beacon for me on the wall , just in a non descript area by a door, and sure enough it was a St John Weird Tales pulp cover. Just beautiful in person. As we noted in Tom Dubois' biography, St John was the art teacher of Dubois' art teacher, back at the art institute in Chicago.
